The union catalogue offers access to the virtual catalogues of 13 Latvian academic and special libraries. The union catalogue is based on the library information system ALISE. Each library participates in the union catalogue with only one of their catalogues. Further catalogues and search facilities are available through each of individual libraries.

Using the union catalogue, searches maybe carried out at one or more libraries simultaneously. The speed of search will depend on the libraries included in the search.
